Requires crystalline samples: Amorphous materials do not produce distinct diffraction patterns. Sample preparation: Proper sample preparation is crucial for accurate results, which can be time-consuming. Resolution limits: XRD may not distinguish between very similar phases or detect very small amounts of a phase.
