Despite their advantages, catalytic CO sensors also have some limitations:
Sensitivity to Interference: Other gases and environmental conditions can sometimes affect the sensor’s accuracy. Temperature Dependence: Their performance can be influenced by temperature changes, requiring temperature compensation mechanisms. Catalyst Deactivation: Over time, the catalyst may become deactivated due to poisoning by certain chemicals or prolonged exposure to high concentrations of CO.
