What are the Challenges in Obtaining Structural Data?
One of the main challenges in obtaining structural data is the resolution limit of the techniques used. While [X-ray crystallography]() provides high-resolution data, it requires the catalyst to be in a crystalline form, which is not always possible. Additionally, dynamic changes in the catalyst structure during the reaction can be difficult to capture. Advanced techniques like in-situ and operando studies are being developed to address these challenges.
