To be eligible for the ACS Scholars Program, applicants must:
Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Be African-American/Black, Hispanic/Latino, or American Indian (U.S. Native). Be a graduating high school senior or college freshman, sophomore, or junior. Plan to or be currently majoring in chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, or a chemically-related science, which includes catalysis. Be planning a career in the chemical sciences. Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher in chemistry or science courses.
