A semi batch feed system is a type of reactor configuration often used in catalysis and other chemical processes. In this system, one or more reactants are added to the reactor continuously or in intervals, while the reaction mixture is not removed until the reaction is complete. This contrasts with batch reactors, where all reactants are added at the beginning, and continuous reactors, where reactants and products flow in and out continuously.
