What are the obligations of companies under REACH?
Under REACH, companies must:
Register chemicals that they manufacture or import in quantities of one tonne or more per year. Evaluate the risks associated with their use and provide safety information to users. Seek authorization for the use of substances of very high concern (SVHC). Restrict the use of certain chemicals where necessary to protect human health and the environment.
