Complexity: Interpreting TPD spectra can be complex, especially for catalysts with multiple types of adsorption sites. Sensitivity: TPD primarily detects species that desorb upon heating, potentially missing weakly bound species. Quantification: Absolute quantification of adsorption sites can be challenging without complementary techniques.
