Despite its benefits, social media also presents challenges. One of the main concerns is the quality and reliability of information shared. Given the informal nature of social media, not all information is peer-reviewed or verified, which can lead to the dissemination of inaccurate data. There is also the risk of intellectual property theft, as ideas and preliminary results shared on social media can be copied without proper attribution.
