What are the Challenges in Using LDHs for Catalysis?
Despite their advantages, there are challenges associated with using LDHs for catalysis:
- Structural Stability: Maintaining the layered structure under reaction conditions can be difficult. - Scalability: Synthesizing LDHs on a large scale with consistent quality can be challenging. - Deactivation: Catalysts can become deactivated over time due to sintering, leaching of active sites, or poisoning.
