Removal of By-products: The removal of volatile by-products, such as ethylene, can be challenging and often requires high vacuum or other techniques to drive the reaction to completion. Monomer Purity: The reaction is sensitive to impurities in the monomers, which can affect the efficiency and outcome of the polymerization. Catalyst Deactivation: Catalysts can become deactivated over time, which may necessitate their removal and replacement during the reaction.
