Scalability: Laboratory-developed catalysts may not always perform well on an industrial scale. Cost of Materials: Some catalysts require rare or expensive materials, limiting their commercial viability. Reaction Selectivity: Achieving high selectivity for the desired product can be difficult, especially in complex reactions.
