ph meters

How Does a pH Meter Work?

A pH meter consists of a glass electrode and a reference electrode. The glass electrode is sensitive to hydrogen ion concentration, while the reference electrode provides a stable voltage. When immersed in a solution, the potential difference between the electrodes is measured and converted into pH units. Modern pH meters are often equipped with digital displays and automatic temperature compensation to ensure accurate readings.
